Our Mission

The BASIS Scottsdale Gazette has been the official school newspaper of BASIS Scottsdale High School. With the guidance of our staff editor, Mr. Witz, our team of 25+ student journalists, photographers, illustrators, and editors works hard to publish not only school news but also articles on a wide range of topics from seasonal recipes to current events and opinion pieces. Since 2011, we have been committed to entertaining, informing, and creating a sense of community among the student body.
