Calista Wilk is a high school senior at BASIS Scottsdale and Co-Editor-in-Chief for the BASIS Scottsdale Gazette. She enjoys writing about STEM education, reporting on the latest science news, and raising awareness for local community causes. In her free time, she loves reading pieces of science fiction, crafting (and re-crafting) lyrics for songs with her ukulele, and running track when the Arizona heat is cooling down.
Tristan Clarke - Creative Director
Tristan has been a member of the BASIS Scottsdale Gazette since 2018 when he joined as an eighth grader. Over the next four years he worked as a journalist, illustrator, and comic artist. Tristan is now the Creative Director of the paper. In his role, he redesigned the paper's format to streamline editing and layout, created the first BASIS Scottsdale Gazette Website since 2017, and spearhead the Bulldog Buzz program to integrate video and short-form news into the paper.
